Policies

Our policies are designed to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of all pets in our care. Our policies are subject to change, so please check back periodically for updates. We are committed to providing the highest standards of care and strive to make sure that all of our policies are in line with that goal. Thank you for entrusting us with the care of your beloved pet. New clients must book a meet and greet before scheduling any type of service. This is to ensure that our team is comfortable and familiar with the pet before beginning any services. Failure to do so will result in automatic cancellation of the appointment.

Entrance instructions must be clearly sent over at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled service start time. Ex: key access, codes, etc. (if not already discussed prior).

  • In the case that you do not send over clear instructions and we have trouble getting into your home for the service, the walk will still be charged in the full amount as we took the time to arrive at your place and attempted to begin the service.

Payments are non-refundable unless you notify us of your need to reschedule at-least 48 hours prior to the start of your service (boarding/day-care/drop-in). Walks require a notice of at least 24 hours in advance. In that case, a credit will be applied to your next booking or the next date that we agree to reschedule for. 

  • Please note: reschedules are based upon availability. If you book me for a 9am and need to reschedule for a later time that day or a 9am on a different day ahead in the week, I can’t guarantee availability. 

  • If cancellation is not made at least 24 hours before a scheduled walk, we will charge the full amount for that walk. 

  • In the case that you are home at the time a sitter arrives for your scheduled service/walk, and you forgot to cancel prior, the full price of the service will be charged. Therefore: any visits cancelled on the day of service will be charged in full.

We offer holiday scheduling as we know that holidays can be busy and offer convenient services to make sure your pet is taken care of while you are away. Please note there are extra fees for the following holidays: Martin Luther King, President's Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day (Weekends also applicable):

  • +$15 Walks/Boarding/Day-Care

  • +$10 Dog drop-in

  • +$15 Cat drop-in

We offer sibling rates- additional dogs can be added to your service for an additional charge per sibling as stated below: 

  • +$5 for Walks & Drop-ins

  • +$10 for Day Care

  • +$45/night for Boarding

Requests that are approved outside of business hours are an additional charge of +$10 per hour of service

On days with inclement weather, we will not walk your pet unless it is safe to do so. For example, we will not walk your pet in stormy weather or during holidays where fireworks are discharged and can be of danger to us and your pet. Walks scheduled during the extremely hot summer days may be shortened due to excessive heat. We always prioritize the safety and wellbeing of your pet.
